Hello!
Hi everyone! First post to come later tonight thanks to Profgrrrrl!!
I'm a 28 year old mother and Psychology PhD student. Here's my life, abbreviated version:
- Born and raised in Small Town, Nova Scotia
- Moved to Small City, Ontario in 2001 with my boyfriend to do my Masters at SCU (Small City University)
- Stayed at SCU to do my PhD, eventually moved to nearby Larger City where my boyfriend worked
- Married boyfriend (aka Big Man) in 2006
- Got the baby bug after my niece was born in Jan 2007
- Took a leave of absence from PhD in Jan 2008
- Moved back to Small Town, Nova Scotia in March 2008
- Gave birth to Little Man in April 2008
- Leave of absence technically finished in September 2008... even though I am paying tuiton, still not really doing anything
- Moved to EVS (Even Smaller Town) - about 15 min drive from Small Town - because my FIL let us live in his rental house for free!
- Currently doing some RA-type work from home, trying (unsuccessfully) to work on my PhD, preparing an online course to teach for Tiny Local University (TLU) this summer... oh, and raising Little Man!
